The beach is not very big, barely one kilometre long, but it is surrounded by nature. It also has shops, bars and restaurants. This fishing village has gradually become a popular place to have fun, relax and spend a great holiday.

Punta del Moral is divided into two parts. The first is the village, next to the marina. Very traditional, where most of the locals are fishermen, a profession that has been handed from one generation to the next. On the other side, by the beach, is the tourist area, with tourist apartments and hotels. Although they are quite different, they are a unified village.

From Punta del Moral you can see Isla Cristina on the other side of the shore with what looks like a lighthouse. It was originally intended as a water reservoir. It was never used as such. Now it is a café/bar with a large terrace.
